Thanks to all of those who came out to help clean the park! I updated the KFC photobucket so feel free to check out the pictures from the clean up! I would like to ask that you guys pray for the Father & Son Bond Camp happening on June 16/17 @ Sibbald Point. Keep them in your prayers! That's all for now. Praise God for the success of all the kids camps last month! Thank you Core, for your continued service and dedication to the kids! Just to let you guys know that there's a KFC Envirokids Field trip this coming weekend so here are the details!

ENVIROKIDS TRIP!

Hey guys!
So did all of you enjoy precon? Cause I sure did! Well now that all the hype about Precon is over, let's get hyped up about our Envirokids Field Trip! Here are the details:

KFC Envirokids Field Trip
Saturday, April 28, 2007.
Time: 9am-12:3opm
Why? We're going to be planting trees to do our part as a KFC Community in being good stewards of the Earth!
Where? McCowan Park
Directions:
Take Highway 401
Exit McCowan South
Keep going South (pass Lawrence Ave.)
McCowan Rd. becomes Danforth Rd, so before that road, there is an intersection called Furlong Ct. & McCowan, turn East (on McCowan) and keep heading straight. The road ends at the actual park).

EVERYTHING WILL BE IN ONE VENUE! ALL SPORTS AND CREATIVE COMPETITIONS WILL TAKE PLACE IN SIR JOHN A. MACDONALD!

Please get the Precon waiver from your designated chapters. No waiver, no precon! Sorry!

METRO EAST PRECONFERENCE 2007!

Theme: FEARLESS
When? Saturday, April 21, 2007.
Where? Two separate venues

Agincourt Collegiate (on Midland Ave., north of Sheppard Ave.) = SPORTS COMPETITIONS
Sir John A. MacDonald (on Pharmacy Ave., south of Fince Ave.) = CREATIVE COMPETITIONS
--> There will be schoolbuses transporting the members to and from the different venues. There is no word on how frequent the buses will go back and forth so it's encouraged that you join only ONE competition seeing that there are chances you might not be able to compete for all the competitions you've entered.

What time?
9am-9pm (Registration time:8am-9am)
Fee: tba
Chapter colours: tba

Random but important details:
- volleyball is NOT coed
** It is recommended that a YFC member should only participate in one competition (all competitions can conflict: time-wise and venue-wise). example: bball could conflict with vball because of time / band could conflict with vball because of the venue AND time. the member might not have a way of getting to the creative comp venue in time from the sports venue.
